Fabulous 40

It's finished! And on time too!

And I'm pretty pleased with it. It's not as perfect as I'd like - there are a few wrinkles in the fabric and I'm not certain if the style of the monograms matches the style of the heart and ruby. Perhaps I should have just done simple lettering.

I've not decided what to turn it into yet, so I've not added any additional elements. I'm considering turning it into the top of a box, and I can then do the sides with the dates. Or it might get turned into a cushion, but perhaps that's too... informal. I can;t decide, so I'm going to see what my Mum and Dad want to do with it, seeing as it's theirs.
