Foxy



Foxy was made from a kit I bought at the RSN shop whilst I was there. The kit is produced by Becky Hogg and is available here.

This was my first attempt at Goldwork, and although he's not quite perfect, I'm very pleassed with the result, and really enjoyed working with the metal threads (a world away from stitching with metallic threads which I've always struggled with).

The main techniques are couching the metal filaments down - on the head and body, and then plunging the ends, Chipping (the top of the tail) and Cutwork (ears, and main tail).
