I searched for a while for a nice pattern to celebrate the birth of my best friend's baby, and found this pattern in an old copy of CrossSticher. It's since been updated with baby's name and date of birth, and will eventually be turned (when I eventually fix my sewing machine) into a little cushion with a matching baby blanket and the book the original illustration comes from.
